Praying to our ancestors during the Qing Ming Festival is not only a way to cherish their memories, but also an opportunity to pass on their kindness and values to the next generation. From ancient times to the present, the Chinese have upheld the tradition of respecting and remembering their ancestors. Qing Ming worship reminds us of our roots and origins, and serves as a meaningful time for gratitude, remembrance, and reflection on filial piety. It also reminds us that without our ancestors, there would be no us today.
In 2026, Nirvana Memorial Garden will be organising a Qing Ming Prayer Ceremony at Block B, Level 9, from 27 March to 29 March 2026. The ceremony setup includes a neatly arranged, creating a solemn and peaceful environment. There will be five shifus chanting on stage from morning till evening throughout all three days. Customers may contact us to register for the Qing Ming Prayer Ceremony.
